Bridges in a nutshell

Important Links

Bridges works to connect and strengthen individuals, families and communities. At the same time we address challenges facing our communities. In particular we work to prevent and reduce harm related to alcohol and other drug use.

Bridges uses The Bridges Network Approach which is a Social Innovation.

Our activities include, alcohol and other drug family counselling, groups, training, community projects and events, outreach and network development.

While Bridges services are mainly provided in Blacktown LGA, The Bridges Network Approach can also be expanded and applied to address other social issues anywhere around the world.

New Report coming soon "The Bridges Network Approach - Strengthening relationships, resilience and systems to address drug related harm and other challenges families and communities are facing"  published by Bridges with foreword by Dr Catherine Spooner (co-author of Social Determinants of Drug Use).
