At Bridges, we develop valuable and meaningful partnerships with people and small and large organisations from community, government and business sectors. We actively create strategies that involve sharing our own and engaging other's expertise, resources and networks. We recognise that collaboration strengthens our communities and helps us to address alcohol and other drug problems. Working together, we can create opportunities to link with multiple networks and resources, improving our chances to make lasting social change.

Bridges is a small community organisation, which on the surface may seem capable of only a small reach. However, over many years we have partnered with grassroots and high-profile individuals and organisations to influence local as well as big picture change. Year by year our strategies and our networks have become stronger. We will continue to influence, be influenced by and link with other people, organisations and networks.

Our communities face significant challenges today. It is easy to feel powerless when it comes to alcohol and other drug problems, climate change or the fallout from the global financial crisis. However, if we all work together we can realise our collective potential, and move our communities and our society forward in unimaginable ways.
